Resort Description

Lantern Bay Resort is located on the Severn River, just north of Sparrow Lake in the Muskokas. We are 10 minutes south of Gravenhurst and just an hour and a half from the GTA. Families can enjoy great fishing, boat rentals, playground and kid’s activities. Resort Cottages accommodate up to 6 people comfortably and offer a wide range of stunning Muskoka scenery!

Close enough to the city, but nestled in the heart of the Muskokas, Lantern Bay Resort offers 1, 2 and 3 bedroom Resort Cottage Rentals from Sunday May 1st to the Monday October 8th (Thanksgiving)

What time is check-in?

Check-in begins at 3pm or as cottages come available, until 8pm. If you are planning on arriving after 8pm, please be sure to notify us. You are welcome to enjoy the resort for the entire day of your arrival. Just come by the Welcome Center to let us know you have arrived.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is 11am. As our guest, you are welcome to enjoy the resort for the entire day of your departure. Just come by the Welcome Center to return your cottage keys. Be sure to ask about our special re-booking rates before you leave!

What amenities will be in my cottage?

All accommodations have a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster as well as a TV and DVD player. All dishes and utensils are provided as well as pillows and blankets.

What do we need to pack?

You will need to bring sheets and pillow cases for the beds, bath, beach and kitchen towels, dish soap and sponge, and your toiletries.

What is your pet policy?

Our resorts are pet friendly however only certain Resort Cottages allow pets for reservations. Please be sure to notify us if you are travelling with a pet. An additional fee of $75 will be added to your reservation. Aggressive pets are not welcome.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations can be rescheduled within the same year at no charge as long as you give us 14 days notice. Cancellations are subject to a $50 administration fee. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival, a $100 administration fee applies. No refunds will be issued within 72 hours of your arrival.

Are Resort Cottages available for purchase?

Our Rental Rates

Nightly:	Low season from $149 - $209; (High season not available)
Mini Break:	Low season from $399 - $565; (High season from $635 - $879)
Weekly:	Low season from $685 - $955; (High season from $1079 - $1495)

Low Season: May 1 to June 28 and September 3 to October 15. Nightly and weekly reservations available, as well our Mini Break Packages.

High Season: June 29 to September 2. Mini Break and Weekly reservations available, nightly reservations not accepted.

Mini Break: A Mini Break Package is available for 4 nights; arriving Monday leaving Friday or 3 nights; arriving Friday leaving Monday.

All rates include 2 adults and up to 4 children. Additional adults pay $15 per person per night for a maximum 4 adults per reservation.

The cottage was beautiful and ultramodern but a bit remote. We loved the beach and swimming every day. My son also made some very nice friends.The store could have had a few more basics like toilet paper.

Canada Day Extravaganza

We have an exciting holiday weekend planned for this Canada Day weekend. Saturday we begin with our traditional Canada Day parade followed by our frist ever Rib Cookoff! Bring your best recipe, show off your grilling skills and may the best ribs win! Sunday we have our Kidz Klub from 10:00am to 2:00pm and Sunday we will finish off the long weekend with our Fireworks show! Come on out, enjoy the festivities and share in the holiday traditons of th resort.
